Beaches of Israel: where to relax?
Israeli beaches are the focus of diversity. Diving in coral “thickets”, dolphinariums, mud baths, volleyball, lots of beach activities, and even free chess and “exotic” things like a beach library …
And still there are “multilingual” rescuers who can communicate even in the language of the deaf-and-dumb, and much more.
Most of the popular beaches of Israel are dispersed along the Mediterranean coast, about 200 km of coastline. Actually, along this part of the coast are Tel Aviv, Haifa, Netanya, Ashdod, Akko, Herzliya, Ashkelon.
About 40% of other Israeli beaches are on the opposite side, on the shores of the Red, Galilean and Dead Seas.
It is quite obvious that different Israeli beaches can be completely different from each other, and this gives its advantages when it comes to purposeful rest. So, young people prefer the coastal areas of Tel Aviv with their club life and night parties. For those who wish to improve health more, the hospitals of the Dead Sea are better suited. And who prefers a quiet and peaceful holiday, you should choose the Western Galilee and its North Coast.
The capital beaches of Tel Aviv are rightfully considered the best in the country. The main city beach stretches for 10 km along the coastline and is divided into 10 more internal beaches. Each of them has its own “chips” and its regular visitors and the target audience.
Locals prefer northern beaches. One of the northern beaches is the gay beach. Tourists are more drawn to the beaches in the central part of the city. Hipsters and residents of Jaffa are southbound. Most of the beaches of Tel Aviv are free, but if you come by car, you will have to pay for parking everywhere.
Caesarea beach is also very popular with tourists and their fellow travelers. It is located 50 km from Tel Aviv, if you go north. Here, everyone will be interested to see the ruins of an ancient Roman aqueduct and soak up the clean sand. Especially active here are holidaymakers gathering on weekends.
There is a resort Herzliya (Herzliya) in the north of the capital of Israel. It is located in a very prestigious area and initially has a high-class “luxury” rest. There are plenty of respectable hotels, restaurants, bars, so that until the deep evening everyone will find entertainment for themselves.
Special advantages have resort Eilat. At 12 kilometers along the coastline of the Red Sea coast are hotels and beaches. The best beach is considered Coral Beach. Actually, it is most appreciated by diving enthusiasts for the finest coral reefs.
In addition to diving in Eilat, excellent conditions are created for lovers of communication with dolphins. Not far from Dolphin Reef Park is Dolphin Beach, where everyone can swim in the company of these amazing marine mammals. The entrance will cost from 40 to 58 shekels, depending on the season (approximately 700-1000 rubles).
The Dead Sea is Israel’s world famous health resort. Most of the beaches with excellent infrastructure are located in the resort of Ein Bokek – this is the southern coast of the Dead Sea. There is, however, a nuance – most of the beaches will be paid, since almost all of them belong to hotels. Those who really want to save, should look in front of the hotel Daniel Hotel Dead Sea.
